Which spa day voucher should I choose?
For a classic spa day, the Thermal Journey with Afternoon Tea or Lunch includes three hours in the thermal spa and lunch or Wood-Fired Afternoon Tea in Blue Smoke. The Recharge Spa Day adds a 50-minute treatment. For couples, The Hideaway Retreat is our most private spa experience. For something different, try the Hawk Walk, Paddle and Spa, or Sail and Spa days.
Can I buy a spa treatment without a spa day?
Yes. The Spa Treatment at Low Wood Bay voucher (£110) covers a choice of 17 treatments, each 50 minutes. Spa Treatment: The Gift of Relaxation (£99) covers a choice of three treatments, Monday to Friday. Neither includes the thermal facilities, but these can be added when booking.
Are spa day vouchers valid at weekends?
Most are valid any day of the week. The Rise & Dine Spa Day is bookable Friday to Monday, the Thermal Journey with Sunday Lunch is for Sundays, and Spa Treatment: The Gift of Relaxation is valid Monday to Friday. Each voucher page says when it can be used.
What do I need to bring for a spa day at Low Wood Bay?
Just swimwear and flip-flops. Robes and towels are provided with spa day vouchers, and flip-flops can be bought on the day.
When can watersports vouchers be used?
The Watersports Centre at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa is open from April to October. Vouchers are valid for 12 months, so a voucher bought at Christmas covers the whole of the following season.
Do I need experience for watersports on Windermere?
No. Paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing are suitable for beginners, waterskiing and wakesurfing lessons are run by qualified instructors, and yacht charters come with a skipper. Motorboat hire needs no licence, but the person hiring must be 18 or over.
How long are Low Wood Bay gift vouchers valid for?
All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Most e-vouchers can be used 48 hours after purchase, so allow for this when buying a last-minute gift.
Can I use part of a voucher and save the rest?
Yes, for monetary vouchers. If you spend £100 of a £300 voucher, the remaining £200 stays on it to use later. Experience vouchers, such as spa days and afternoon tea, must be used in full in one visit.
Can I buy a voucher for more than one person?
Yes. Most spa day, afternoon tea and dining vouchers can be bought for up to six people, and the options are shown on each voucher. Overnight stay vouchers are for two people sharing.
How will I receive my voucher?
Choose free email delivery, which arrives instantly, or have it posted in gift packaging by Royal Mail 1st Class (£5.95) or Special Delivery (£12.95). You can add a personal message at checkout, and email vouchers can include a personalised video message.
How do I redeem my Low Wood Bay voucher?
Monetary, spa day and watersports vouchers can be redeemed online when you book. Overnight stays are booked by calling 0333 2203 121. Dining vouchers, such as Wood-Fired Afternoon Tea, should be quoted when you book your table. Bring your voucher with you, printed or on your phone.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. All bookings are subject to availability, so book as early as you can, especially for weekends and school holidays. Overnight stays on Saturday nights and bank holidays need a two-night minimum stay. If you don't turn up for a booking, the voucher may be redeemed and can't be reissued.
What happens if I lose my voucher?

What are my rights if I change my mind after buying?
