1. What types of gift vouchers are available from English Lakes Hotels?

We offer a range of experiences across Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, Wild Boar Estate and Lancaster House Hotel, including restaurant vouchers (e.g. Wood‑Fired Afternoon Tea, Sunday Lunch), spa experiences, watersports activities, monetary vouchers for flexible spending, and overnight stays with added extras like thermal journeys or afternoon tea.

2. What can monetary vouchers be used for?

English Lakes Hotels monetary vouchers can be used against the value of anything at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, Wild Boar Estate and Lancaster House Hotel, including on overnight stays, special offers, food & drink, The Spa, Watersports and Sandpiper Health Club (with the exception of services provided by third parties in Sandpiper Health Club).

Hotel specific monetary vouchers can only be used on experiences at the named hotel.

3. How long are vouchers valid for?

All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

4. Can vouchers be extended, refunded, or partially redeemed?

No—vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be extended. Monetary vouchers can be partially redeemed, with the remaining value of the voucher available to use in the future - for example, £100 of a £300 voucher is used to make a purchase at one of our hotels, the £100 is redeemed and £200 is left on the voucher for you to use.

5. How will I receive the voucher?

You can choose:

Email delivery (free), or postal delivery via Royal Mail 1st Class (£5.95) or Special Delivery (£12.95).

You'll also have the option to add a personal message during checkout.

6. How do I redeem my voucher?

Monetary vouchers, Spa Days and Watersports vouchers can all be redeemed online at the point of booking. Overnight stay packages must be redeemed by calling the appropriate hotel to book, whilst dining vouchers such as Wood-Fired Afternoon Tea or Alternative Afternoon Tea should be quoted when booking a table and presented when you visit our restaurants.

On arrival, you must present the actual physical voucher or digital voucher as instructed.

7. What happens if I lose my voucher or disclose the voucher code?

Each voucher is single-use only. Please print it once and keep the voucher code secure—anyone with the code may redeem it.

8. Any advice regarding availability and pre-booking?

We recommend booking early, as redemptions are subject to availability. In case of a “no‑show,” the voucher may be automatically redeemed without reissue.

9. What are my rights if I change my mind after purchase?

You have 14 days from confirmation to cancel your order and receive a full refund, as long as the voucher hasn’t been dispatched or redeemed. If already sent, the voucher becomes void upon cancellation.
